The Guild Wall in GS4

The guild wall in GS4 is going to be based on total experience, not on levels, which is to say, ranks will be available at the same experience levels which they are in GS3. This will result in the same level of ranks being available to all players in GS4 as they had in GS3.

The notable differences are:

- More than one rank per level will be gained.

- Ranks will be gained mid-level, similar to training points.

Determining the Next Experience Increment

If exp < 265000, can’t join.

If 265000 = exp < 270000, next rank at 270000.

If 270000 <= exp < 300000, take (exp – 270000)/7500. Round remainder up or add 1 for even figures and multiply by 7500. Add 270000.

If 300000 <= exp < 500000, take (exp – 300000)/10000. Round remainder up or add 1 for even figures and multiply by 10000. Add 300000.

If exp >= 500000, take (exp – 500000)/12500. Round remainder up or add 1 for even figures and multiply by 12500. Add 500000.

If exp < 265000, can’t join.

If 265000 = exp < 270000, next rank at 270000.

If 270000 <= exp < 300000, next rank every 7500.

If 300000 <= exp < 500000, next rank every 10000.

If exp >= 500000, next rank every 12500.

Example: A warrior has 642987 experience and is maximized at 75 ranks. 642987 > 500000, so (642987 – 500000)/12500 = 11.43896, rounding up to 12. 12 * 12500 = 150000. 150000 + 500000 = 650000, the experience needed for his next rank.

Old level: Your level under the GS3 level designation system
Old ranks: Your max guild ranks under old formula of ((level - 4) * 4)
New level: Your converted GS4 level
New ranks by level: Your max ranks in GS4 with the old guild wall formula
New ranks by experience: Your max ranks in GS4 using the experience-based formula
