Erithi Weaponsmith Sets Up Shop

 

An Erithi weaponsmith has set up shop in Whistler’s Pass.  He may be inclined to work on Erithian weapons for you, but you need to do something for him first.  The weaponsmith is able to work with magic metals as well, but his work takes time, so none of the weapons are available for immediate sale.

 

Trade Shops Open in Ta’Illistim

 

Adventurers my purchase permits and shops to sell their possessions in Ta’Illistim.  Permits and shop furniture may be purchased in Mzaarine Bazaar, located off of Mzaarine Wey, just inside Sapphire Gate.  Trade shops are also located within the Bazaar.

 

Citizenship Clerk Arrives in Ta’Illistim

 

Adventurers may check their status of obtaining citizenship in Ta’Illistim by checking the citizenship clerk located in the Ta’Illistim Keep.

 

Surname Registry in Ta’Illistim

 

Surnames may be registered or shared with the surname clerk located northeast of Briarstone Keep, two blocks northwest of Briarstone Court.

 

PRO Meeting Hall

 

Player Run Organizations may avail themselves of the meeting hall built off of Mzaarine Wey, just inside the Sapphire Gate.

 

Ta’Illistim receives NPC cleric

 

The Hall of Patrons in Ta’Illistim has charged one of its clergy to oversee the care of all adventurers in need of dire aid.  Just a step east from the main chambers, the new addition should provide much-needed help to any of those poor souls who, for one reason or another, are lacking life.

 

The Hall of Patrons is located one block east and two blocks south of the Postern Gate.

 

Guilds Open in Ta’Illistim or Nearby

 

The Wizard’s Guild of Ta’Illistim has opened its doors to all wizards of sufficient training.  The guild is located along Moonglae Var, near the airship docks.

 

The Sorcerer’s Guild has been closed down within the city, while another guild has opened in the ruins near the path to Caelith Villa on Gyldemar Road.

 

The Ta’Illistim branch of the Ranger Guild has opened its doors to members.  It is located along Sylvarraend Road, though only those of sufficient nature sense will be able to find the entrance.  Within the guild can be found a shop with items useful for the care of a Ranger’s companion.

 

The Ta’Illistim Empath Guild has opened its doors.  The guild is found on Ellaerin Var, in the southeastern part of town.

 

The Ta’Illistim Bard guild has opened its doors to all bards among the city.  The guild is located on Glamesine Var, right near the local theatre.

 

House Clerks come to Ta’Illistim

 

A clerk available to perform official House business can now be found in Ta’Illistim.  The clerk is located in the Lost Home building.

 

Veythorne Manor Opens Its Doors

 

The grounds of Lord Vothurre Veythorne’s private manor have opened to the general public.  Located on the grounds are gardens famous for their beauty, an inn with Elven cuisine available for purchase, a private lake with fishing, an archery range, souvenir shop, throwing range, basket shop and gambling tables.

 

The Manor is located off of Weyr Wey, one block northeast, one block north, two blocks northeast, one block east and one block south of the pawnshop.

 

Public Bathhouse Opens

 

A new public bathhouse has been opened along Glimaer Wey, one block east and one block south of the features pavilion.  The bathhouse features hot baths, cold baths, steam rooms and scented oils, allowing patrons to relax in true Elven style.

 

Ruins Discovered Along Whistler’s Pass

 

Ruins have been discovered along Whistler’s Pass, left intact for any to explore after scholars have investigated them.

 

(Note: The original announcement did not specify the purpose of the ruins, which became clear later.  The ruins house a shrine to Mularos, but I will leave how to get there a puzzle to discover.)

 

City Defenses Open to Citizens and Non-Citizens

 

The belltowers of Ta’Illistim have been opened to citizens of the city.  The mid-levels of the towers house magical relics that defenders can use to guard the city’s borders.  Non-citizens may also help defend Ta’Illistim by infusing mana into the entrances to the towers, which will help power them.

 

(Note: I’m not sure at this moment if a citizen may lead non-citizens into the belltowers.)

 

Weapon and Armor Smiths Expand Metals

 

The Ta’Illistim weapon and armor shops have expanded their stock, now including vultite to be used to craft a variety of weapons and armor.

 

Ta’Illistim Library Aies Begins Lending Books

 

The Library Aies has changed its policy regarding lending books to foreigners.  As such, books may be checked out for a nominal fee or read for free within the library as usual.  The library may also employ methods to recover books that have not been returned on time.

 

Mysterious Elven Manor Opens

 

A recently-built manor has opened along Sylvarraend road between the town on Sylvarraend and the trail to Gyldemar Forest.  Standing on the site of another manor owned by an Elven lord known for extreme decadence which had been abandoned for centuries, the manor has been the source of rumors of screams and robed figures in the middle of the night.  The owner of the property, however, welcomes everyone to his home and says that there is nothing to be afraid of.
