Adding item scripts and other data as I get them
This page will contain the games list, item list and
merchant names only.
Roleplay information can be found here.
The official map, courtesy of Andraste, can be found here as a JPG
file, or here
as a PDF file. Both versions are
identical in content and include the room numbers this list uses as well as
shop numbers for quick reference.
Augie’s map can be found here, which uses
the room numbers this list is based on.
Thanks to Andraste, Ariadanz, Arlia, Augie, Bacl,
Brimzstone, Calebrinda, Celeerial, Cristalia, Gothique, Jesae, Jolena, Kaliq,
Kiarda, Krinthis, Lydilnai, Silverphenix, Sylanae, Sylverose, Teekee, Wystan
and Zosopage for helping to add to the listings.
General Information
(Thanks to Ariadanz for posting a concise list of tips this is based upon.)
The Dragonfly Festival may be found in the town of Cysaegir, between Zul Logoth and Ta’Illistim. Travel scripts can be found here to move from outside Ta’Illistim’s Sapphire Gate and Cysaegir’s drawbridge (room E10 on the map), or here for the return trip. The scripts will work in both the Wizard and StormFront. Users of the SBC should note that the SBC can take them to Cysaegir as well.
Cysaegir’s bank is unique to the town, but it has been said that merchants should take notes from anywhere unless specifically coded. There is an exchange available in the bank if needed.
Four Winds Isle (premium) teleport devices will work inside Cysaegir, so you may keep your funds there if needed.
There are no lockers in Cysaegir. The nearest lockers are in Ta’Illistim, or in Zul Logoth if you wish to pay 1k each way.
At this point, there seems to be no official chat room set up. There is an unofficial chat room set up on GM Naos’ IRC server, but the web client cannot reach it. Instead, you will need an IRC client such as mIRC or Trillian. From there, connect to server 216.86.156.14, port 6667 and /join #dragonfly.
Cysaegir has its own amunet region. You cannot hear thoughts from Ta’Illistim in Cysaegir.
Games and Contests
As posted by Schascle 3/31/07
Hear ye, hear ye let the Games and Contests begin!
Ladies and Gentleman in celebration of the Dragonfly Festival, the city of Cysaegir brings to you games of talent and luck. Throughout the month long festivities make sure to check your calendars for times and locations of the events. We are planning at least two each weekend and more from the merchants themselves. So join us for the festivities, fun, and good times ahead!
~Cysaegir Scavenger Hunt~
Its Scavenger Hunt time! A team from two to four players will attempt to be the first to gather all thirty items on the hunt list. The first team to complete will get their choice of Dragonfly Festival prizes. All scavengers will receive a prize for participation.
~A Rose by any other Name~
Can you tell a snapdragon from a daisy? A tulip from a tuberose? This is the game for you! The herbalist Lylii will attempt to confound you with her lispy pronunciations of flora, fauna, and herbs. Be the first to figure them out and perhaps win a prize.
~The Shell Game~ (currently on the calendar)
Is the hand quicker than the eye? Can you keep your eye on the pearl to figure out which shell it is hidden inside? Try your luck at The Shell Game! Its free to play and even better if you win!
~Limerick Contest~
Quick wits and Aelotoi themes are the key to this Limerick contest. Each contestant will recite their five line poem having in some way, shape, or form to do with the Aelotoi people. They will be scored on originality, cleanliness, and in attention to theme. A time of laughter and fun for all!
~Songs of Freedom~
A time of celebration and a time of freedom for the Aelotoi people, the requested theme of this bardic contest is that of ‘Freedom’. Talented musicians will be given five minutes to perform their original works for the guests of the Dragonfly Festival. They will be scored on originality, presence, and keeping with the theme of the contest.
~Who’s Your Daddy?!~
The children of Cysaegir invite you to play a school time game of ‘Who’s Your Daddy’. Do not be fooled by their youth, as these children are more cunning than you can imagine.

~Create-A-Bug~
Days: Every Monday (Plat) and Wednesday (Prime) of the festival
Time: Around 9pm EST
Location: Ayleano’s Stall
General Info: Remember the classic games of your childhood? Rock, Stick, yo-yo, and ball? These were some of Ayleano’s favorite games, and now she’s added one more!
In the spirit of the Dragonfly Festival, Ayleano is inviting guests to come play a game with her in her shop twice a week. Sign ups for the game will be done randomly the evening and/or morning before for ten participants. All you have to do to play the game is show up! That’s it! You don’t need silvers, special skills, strange talents, or even to be terribly creative. Ayleano does, however, request that you bring your laughter with you!
(Please note, you are only allowed to play the game once during the run of the festival.)
Item List
Information will be posted as soon as it is gathered and organized.
NOTE: I will be doing my best to document specific scripts any items have. If you’ve found any, please let me know and I’ll put it up here with credit to you for helping!
