The Artisan’s Guild is pleased to announce a revamp of the forges across Elanthia!  There have been several additions, revisions, and additions.

Revisions

·       Due to the depreciation of the Intelligence stat.  Logic now plays a role when increasing the ability of a player to learn.

·       Glyph stare messaging has been revised to be more helpful.

·       The quality of the forged weapons is no longer tied to the enchant of the weapon.  This removes the conflicts with enchanting and other systems.  Quality weapons which previously received a bonus to enchantment will now notice an increase in the DF and AvD? of the weapon.  Enjoy!

Fixes

·       The “double aha” bug on the final forge routine has been removed.  Sorry!

·       You will no longer be able to rent a workshop that has someone in the forging room.

·       All types of oilskins are now POURable into the trough.

·       Rental timers for Ta’Illistim forges have been fixed and work as intended.

·       Roundtime and forging messaging has been more closely linked.  Please bug any additional problems with this.

·       Bane weapon forging is back in all its glory.

Additions

·       You may now adjust the quality description on your weapons and forging-hammers.  This is done at the polisher by LEAN polisher WITH quality-tag.  Usage is available.

·       Weapons will now be created with the handle metal included in the description.  This may be removed using the polisher also.  Usage is available.

·       You are now able to retrieve unused oil from the trough.  Simply pull the plug and use the oil again later.

·       Zul Lugoth and Teras Isle forges have slab cutters and reduced rental prices.

·       Forging hammers now play a more significant role in creation of a weapon, as well as the chance for a “best” piece.  The higher the quality, the better your chances.

·       Forging hammers now also track the creator vs.  forger.  If you are using a hammer that is not your own, it will take some time to get used to it.  You will receive no bonus from the hammer until it becomes attuned to you.

·       The value of forged weapons should now be more in-line with the shop values, regarding the pawnshop.

The Artisan’s Guild is pleased to announce that the following Guild workers have completed their training in the revised art of forging: Samilla, Fortog, Storien, Grondihaf, and Stonehammer.  Congratulations!

The NPCs located at each of the town forges will now be able to convert weapons from the old system to the new.  Due to limitations, the weapons must not have been altered from their originally forged state.  Simply GIVE the weapon to the NPC and he or she will convert it for you.  If you notice any problems let me know.
