Mechanics Changes in GS4

 

In my attempts to catalogue the various changes to our world, I have found many changes that did not fall into a simple, tidy category. Rather than trying to force these changes into a category, I have decided to place them in a category of their own.

 

Ability Bonus System – Items which can boost your stats, skills, or even spell knowledge

 

Forging – Updates to the forging system

 

House System – Changes to the Great House system

 

Lockpicking – Changes to the lockpicking system

 

Paid Character Restoral System – Players may pay a fee to restore their characters that were lost due to rerolling or permanent death

 

Player Shops – Adventurers may now sell their items, even when they’re not around

 

Society Changes – Updates and additions to societies

 

Sprite Quests – Sprites now help new characters and players become acclimated to the game

 

Travel Guides – Pre-title characters may hire guides to take them between towns
